    Codice Destinatario

    The 7-character alphanumeric identifier registered with the Agenzia delle Entrate that tells SdI which channel to use when delivering a FatturaPA to the buyer.

    Italian VAT-registered buyers with an accredited intermediary register a specific code (e.g. KRRH6B9 for some providers). Buyers without a registered code use "0000000" combined with a PEC email address. Foreign buyers use "XXXXXXX". A FatturaPA with an invalid Codice Destinatario is rejected with error code 00311.
