NF-e (Nota Fiscal Eletrônica) and NFS-e (services)
Invoicemonk issues Brazilian NF-e (goods) and NFS-e (services) signed with your ICP-Brasil A1 certificate, transmits to the state SEFAZ or municipal portal, and returns the Chave de Acesso and DANFE PDF to the buyer. Live since June 2024.
Built for Brazil from day one
What NF-e / NFS-e requires
NF-e (Nota Fiscal Eletrônica) covers sale-of-goods invoices and is processed by the state SEFAZ. NFS-e covers services and is processed by the buyer's municipal portal (now converging on the national NFS-e standard). Both require an XML signed with an ICP-Brasil A1 certificate, a Chave de Acesso (44-digit access key), and a printable DANFE/DANFSE.
How Invoicemonk meets NF-e / NFS-e
Invoicemonk builds the SEFAZ XML schema, signs with your uploaded ICP-Brasil A1 certificate, transmits to the destination SEFAZ (NF-e) or municipal/national portal (NFS-e), captures the Chave de Acesso and authorisation protocol, and renders the DANFE/DANFSE PDF. ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, and ISS are computed per CFOP / CST / município rules.
Who this applies to
Brazilian businesses issuing invoices for goods (NF-e) or services (NFS-e). MEI taxpayers use the simplified NFS-e flow.
Cryptographic artefacts, in every jurisdiction we cover
Invoicemonk issues cryptographically signed structured invoices in every one of the 18 jurisdictions we cover, using the local artefact the tax authority requires:
- CSID — ZATCA (Saudi Arabia)
- IRN — GST India (NIC IRP), FIRS Nigeria, GRA Ghana
- UUID — MyInvois Malaysia
- QR + Control Unit Number — KRA eTIMS (Kenya)
- Chave de Acesso — NF-e / NFS-e (Brazil)
- Fiscal signature — ZIMRA FDMS (Zimbabwe)
- XAdES digital signatures — Peppol (EU), MTD (UK)
- ICP-Brasil A1 — Brazilian NF-e / NFS-e signing
Each mandate page documents the local artefact, signing algorithm, certificate authority, and the spec section that requires it.
