Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 (B2B and B2G)
Invoicemonk issues Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 invoices (UBL 2.1) and routes them through a certified Peppol Access Point in the four-corner model — covering all EU B2G under Directive 2014/55/EU plus cross-border B2B. Live since January 2024.

What Peppol requires
Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 defines a structured UBL 2.1 e-invoice profile and a four-corner exchange network (sender, sender Access Point, receiver Access Point, receiver). EU Directive 2014/55/EU mandates Peppol-compliant receipt for all B2G transactions in member states; B2B mandates are rolling out per country (e.g. France 2026, Germany 2025–2028, Belgium 2026).
How Invoicemonk meets Peppol
Invoicemonk builds the Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 UBL, validates against the Peppol schematron, signs the payload, and routes it via a certified Peppol Access Point partner to the buyer's Access Point using the receiver's Peppol participant ID. Status callbacks (delivered, rejected, accepted, paid) flow back into the invoice timeline. Cross-border invoices use the destination country's Peppol BIS country specialisation where one exists.
Who this applies to
Any EU seller or buyer exchanging structured e-invoices. All B2G transactions across member states under Directive 2014/55/EU. B2B coverage expands as each member state activates its mandate.
Cryptographic artefacts, in every jurisdiction we cover
Invoicemonk issues cryptographically signed structured invoices in every one of the 18 jurisdictions we cover, using the local artefact the tax authority requires:
- CSID — ZATCA (Saudi Arabia)
- IRN — GST India (NIC IRP), FIRS Nigeria, GRA Ghana
- UUID — MyInvois Malaysia
- QR + Control Unit Number — KRA eTIMS (Kenya)
- Chave de Acesso — NF-e / NFS-e (Brazil)
- Fiscal signature — ZIMRA FDMS (Zimbabwe)
- XAdES digital signatures — Peppol (EU), MTD (UK)
- ICP-Brasil A1 — Brazilian NF-e / NFS-e signing
Each mandate page documents the local artefact, signing algorithm, certificate authority, and the spec section that requires it.
