Reimbursable Expense
A business expense paid by an employee or contractor that is eligible to be repaid by the client or employer.
More Details
Reimbursable expenses differ from tax-deductible expenses. While deductible expenses reduce your taxable income, reimbursable expenses are costs you paid on behalf of a client and can bill back to them. Common examples include travel expenses, materials purchased for a project, and software licenses bought for client work.
