    PIH (Previous Invoice Hash)

    The hash of the preceding invoice stored in each ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoice to form a tamper-evident chronological chain.

    An EGS calculates the current invoice hash and carries forward the prior invoice hash as the PIH. This lets ZATCA and auditors detect deleted, inserted, altered, or reordered invoices. Each Solution Unit maintains its own sequence, beginning with ZATCA’s prescribed initial hash value.
